Pembina Pipelines Corporation has been an trusted member of the Drayton Valley community for many years. When Pembina outgrew its current office space, RK was tasked with designing a new office that was efficient and humble, and allowed for future growth.
The project features a 30,000 sq. ft. office (completed) and 28,000 sq. ft. warehouse/ shop. Visitors are greeted at the main entry to a reception area flush with corporate identity. This interior “street” is the primary public corridor of the building and connects the main entry and reception with a large kitchen and a community hall, finishing with the warehouse and shop at the end. Access to office areas, the lunch room, outdoor space, the town hall, the shop/ warehouse building, and the fitness centre are all organized off of the internal street.
